The World Eaters are one of the most brutal and bloodthirsty Chaos Space Marine Legions in Warhammer 40K, devoted to Khorne, the Chaos God of war, murder, and rage. Originally known as the VIII Legion during the Great Crusade, the World Eaters were once noble and disciplined warriors serving the Emperor of Mankind. However, during the Horus Heresy, they fell into chaos under the influence of Angron, their Primarch and the bloodthirsty champion of Khorne. Under Angron's leadership, the World Eaters gave in completely to their basest instincts, becoming savage berserkers who thirst for blood and war above all else.
The World Eaters are defined by their uncontrolled rage and sheer physical prowess, focusing on close-combat destruction.
