The various conflicts within the Human Sphere draw a large mercenary population, seeking big dollars for their services. Mercenaries are organised by companies and consortiums, and some even operate as individual contractors. Whether amateur adventurers or professional soldiers of fortune, there is plenty of work to go around. One could also pursue a prosperous career as a corsair, or privateer, hired by the government to capture enemy military, merchant or pirate vessels. Haqqislam is currently the biggest employer of privateers. And if all else fails, there's still good work available as a Bounty Hunter.
