All dragons have a lifestone, an athanc, which emits a powerful warping energy on the world around them, called a blight. Everblight was a uncannily powerful dragon who had the ability to use his blight as a weapon, which he did freely, wreaking much havoc in the Iron Kingdoms. Eventually the Elves destroyed his body and imprisoned his athanc in the frozen north of Khador. They thought that would stop him. Everblight's powers were so great that he persuaded Thagrosh to release him. Fusing their two bodies, Everblight walks among the living as a new being. He has raised a new army from the Elves of Nyss. And now, he moves swiftly, his powers magnified, crushing his opponents and any other creatures who get in his way!
