Light enough to keep up with the fleet-of-foot warcasters and the ability to use its enhanced mechanical reflexes to intercept attacks or bring weapons to bear against a foe drawing to close to its ward. Its massive shield is layered with protective spells and durable armour plates capable of shrugging off a great deal of damage. Each of these components lends to the Devout's ability to protect its controller.
