TCC: Kings of War "Kakwah Cup" (Sunday 29th March)

Welcome to “Kakwah Cup I” our first Kings of War event at The Combat Company!

Parking: Is available at the venue and if travelling by Bus, the 945 stops at the start
of the street.

Army Construction:

2200pts Kings of War 4th Edition. As this event is aiming to be
as new player friendly as possible, I strongly encourage more experienced players to
practice some restraint with army construction. I will reserve the right to resubmit
(with feedback) any lists that I feel are a little bit over the top.
All models will need to clearly represent the unit entry and look like they belong in
the army. Models will need to be based on the correct size bases for Kings of War
4th edition, models bluetacked to bases or individually ranked on movement trays
will not be accepted.
If you do have models on incorrect base sizes or intend to proxy units or armies
please get in touch with the TO in advance to avoid disappointment on the day.
Format: 3 Rounds, 2 hours per Round, Swiss Pairings. Tournament points will be
earned in the following way:
Available each game
● 3tp for a win, 2tp for a draw, 1tp for a loss
● 1tp if you kill your opponents General (Warlord or nominated champion)
● 1tp if you double (or more) your opponents scenario score
This will be added at the end with the following “soft” scores
● 3tp for fully painted army (consistant and including basing)
● 3tp if the majority of figures in the army are Mantic models.
● 3tp if it is your first Kings of War event!
Tickets: $30 Each and available on the combat company website. Spots are limited
so secure your ticket early to avoid disappointment.

Timetable:
Registration/Set Up – 9:30am to 10am
Round 1 – 10am to 12:00pm
Break – 12:00pm to 12:40pm
Round 2 - 12:45pm to 2:45pm
Round 3 – 3pm to 5pm
Pack up/Presentation - 5:15pm to 5:30pm

Scenarios:
Round 1: Control, long edge deployment
Round 2: Loot, diagonal deployment
Round 3: Pillage, 7 tokens, long edge deployment

Terrain:
Terrain will be the following standardised heights:
Fields/Ponds: 0
Obstacles: 1
Forests: 8
Hills: 3
Buildings/Impassable: 8

Army Lists need to be submitted to adammacaskill@gmail.com by Friday 20th
March. Please attach a pdf from mantic companion and include your name
and KOW in the subject line.

Refund Policy
Any cancellation within 2 days of the event, ticket(s) won't be refunded. If you're
unable to come, please email the TO asap so we can find substitute players.
