This pack includes two frontline and support characters for the Northern Tribes: the Hersir, an aggressive and resilient close-combat fighter, and the Tattooist, a field medic dedicated to healing wounds and cleansing status effects.

Hersir:

The Hersir is an elite Varank melee specialist focused on close-quarters combat and enemy attrition. She serves as a berserker leader seeking direct engagement, punishing rivals with Disarmed and bypassing enemy Blocks.

  • Berserk Fury and Storkrige Tattoo: Allows modifying dice rolls by adding chosen symbols, providing steady damage and disarming foes both when attacking and defending.

  • Not One Step Back: Once per game, automatically passes a failed WIL test to maintain momentum.

  • Infantry synergy: When joining Varank infantry, she boosts their profile and shields allied troops.

  • On the table: Features 3 Wounds, blue defense dice, and the ability to spend Stress to enhance either attack or defense. For 25 points, she delivers reliable damage, status control, and frontline resilience

Tattooist:

The Tattooist is a medical support character that keeps allied units fighting by removing debuffs and restoring lost health. She is fragile and should remain clear of direct combat.

  • Herbs and Ointments: Affects all friendly units within 12 paces in Line of Sight (LoS). Removes selected status effects (Disarmed, Slowed, or Vulnerable) and heals 1 Wound. A WIL test allows healing 1 additional Wound per Special rolled.

  • Whale Bone Needle: Grants full immunity to Disarmed, Slowed, and Vulnerable.

  • Medicinal Tattoos: Offers a chance to ignore 1 point of incoming damage.

  • On the table: For just 15 points, she provides area healing and ongoing support for army lists built around attrition and sustained pressure.
